1. Overview

A3T™ Base is a locally hosted AI system. We do not collect, monitor, or transmit your data. All inputs, prompts, files, and session activity remain on your device — unless you choose to activate specific features that require internet access (e.g., web search or cloud-based LLM processing).

This policy describes how your data is handled, what minimal external interactions may occur, and your rights and responsibilities as a user.

2. What We Don’t Do (By Design)

  • ❌ We do not collect personal data, browsing activity, or chat history
  • ❌ We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral analytics
  • ❌ We do not access your local files, except those you explicitly upload into a session
  • ❌ We do not sell or share any user information — because we don’t collect it

3. Local Processing

By default, all data remains on your local machine. This includes:

  • Chat prompts and system responses
  • Uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT)
  • Session histories
  • Collaboration logs

All processing and storage occurs within your desktop environment. No data is transmitted to us or stored on external servers.

4. Cloud-Based Interactions (When Enabled)

Certain features (e.g., LLM summarization or live web search) send user inputs to trusted third-party services:

  • 🔹 OpenAI (for GPT-4 responses)
  • 🔹 Brave Search API (for live web search results)
  • 🔹 Target websites (when scraping summaries via direct HTTP requests)

These interactions occur only when initiated by you during use of designated features.

Bridgewell Advisory LLC does not store, log, or analyze any data sent to these services. All cloud interactions are governed by the third parties' privacy policies:

5. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Avoiding entry of sensitive personal, financial, or medical data
  • Managing your local session files and exports
  • Understanding that inputs processed by cloud-based services (e.g., GPT-4) may be logged by those providers per their terms

6. Data Retention

Bridgewell Advisory LLC does not retain any data about your use of A3T Base. All session history, trace memory, and files are stored locally and may be deleted or retained at your discretion.

7. Security

The Software does not create or maintain any open internet connection except when you use cloud features. We recommend:

  • Encrypting your device
  • Using antivirus software
  • Restricting access to your A3T folders and logs

You assume full responsibility for local system security.

8. Compliance Statement

This policy is designed to be compliant with major global data protection frameworks, including:

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
  • Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)

Because we do not collect or store user data, no opt-out mechanism is required.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy as A3T evolves. Any updates will be posted at https://aiasateam.com/privacy. Continued use of the software constitutes your acceptance of any updates.
